Leary is seasoned communication professional with a talent for crafting compelling stories that resonate with audiences. He has worked with many clients, including Chick-fil-A, Newell-Rubbermaid, Kimberly-Clark, Coke, Georgia Tech, and The Carter Center.

With a focus on storytelling that highlights how companies positively impact people’s lives, Leary’s work has taken him across the United States and to countries such as Chile, Peru, Burkina Faso, Canada, France, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Portugal, and Romania.

Before starting his own company, Leary was a journalist for The Hickory (N.C.) Daily Record and theCOMMISSION magazine in Richmond, VA. He also spent nine years on the PR team at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Leary is not only a communications expert but also a passionate teacher. He has shared his knowledge of storytelling and brand building at a variety of institutions, including Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, The University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii, Reinhardt College in Waleska, Ga., Berry College in Rome, Ga., Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Ga., and Dallas Baptist University in Texas.

In addition to his teaching work, Leary often works with clients to help their staff members become more effective visual storytellers. He has also served as a guest lecturer at many events and organizations, including the World Journalism Institute in Washington, D.C., the Southwestern Photojournalism Conference in Fort Worth, Texas, the Art Institute of Atlanta, Ga., the American Society of Media Photographers in Atlanta, Ga., and the Southeastern Photographic Society in Atlanta, Ga.

Leary is based in Roswell, Ga., where he lives with his wife, Dorie Griggs, and their three children. He holds degrees in social work and communications.
